Since their last encounter, Orochimaru had found himself wound up in a mix of various circumstances. Some were absolutely delightful, and some edged him to the brink of insanity. Namely in regards to alliances with The Sound. He really did hate resolving problems using the extremes, but the imbeciles who resided in his village were just so... ( Read more... )

Caves again? How snake-like of Orochimaru. Tobi was quick to pick up his "scent", that unmistakably vile chakra signature, which he followed with much less enthusiasm than their last meeting. Although it would be a lie to say Madara was not slightly interested in whatever the snake had to offer. Possibly, it could further his own plans, and possibly, he could actually kill Orochimaru this time.

Once Tobi arrived, far later than was expected, he supposed, he kept his distance. A few good yards away from the only other soul in the area. And he waited.

Orochimaru couldn't figure out exactly why he was doing this. Tobi and he had shown and acted as if he they were nothing but enemies in the past. At the same time, the sannin realized that eventually, he would need a new host. He could always just go down the line of Uchihas but... this one would take a bit more time. For now, he was just going to attempt to use the Akatsuki member to his advantage.

As Tobi came into view, Orochimaru took a step forward, coming into view from the dark shadows he was lurking in. "Hello again," he merrily hissed. "You know... keeping that mask on isn't necessary anymore. Besides, I'd like to see both of those beautiful crimson eyes!"

He still stood, unmoving, the wind fluttering the long sleeves of his cloak from time to time. Ignoring the comment from the other, finding it another irritating taunt from the snakelike ninja, he would eventually close some distance between them so they could speak without shouting like fools.

"What now?" Madara demanded, in that smooth and dangerous tone. He hated to show any interest in Orochimaru, but then again, the snake didn't know his true identity. The Uchiha supposed his reputation wouldn't be tarnished by doing a deal, or whatever the hell Orochimaru was thinking of, at this point.

Besides, it would give him an easier opportunity to kill the Sannin once and for all.

Apparently Tobi was not nearly as amused as Orochimaru again. Of course, the snake Sannin made Tobi's job a bit more easier by striding on over and rather abruptly, closing the space between them. Now they were only a foot or two apart. The Sannin had absolutely no shame. In fact, his ego skyrocketed after their last encounter. He was feeling very VERY comfortable.

Orochimaru stayed silent for another moment, simply staring at Tobi and more so, eying his mask. He really saw absolutely no reason in maintaining the little masquerade. At this point, it was just silly.

"I'd like to request your assistance," he began in his usual raspy but delicate tone. "I'm sure that you're quite a busy man but... this shouldn't take long for you at all."
