Wow! For a first HW fic, you really start with a bang! (pardon the pun) I like the more fantasy element of this fic. Most are very canon-based, and I don't think I've read many that have any sort of real supernatural content (aside from Shadows on Baker Street, which has Holmes in a Lovecraft world). Really intriguing! Now I want to know what happens next, and why Holmes was (apparently) a cat!
