Black on green is very difficult to read

good point.

but seeing as how my posts are black on tan, and the comment box is black on white, i fail to see the actual problem.

also, it is helpful to say who you are when making anonymous comments.

Hello, I came via history grads LJ group, as IU is one place I'm trying to reach - have an offer from CEUS but no funding!

Cool. I am an Americanist, so I have zero background with CEUS and their workings. Some of my department friends in the Eastern Europe subfield come in contact with them, though (at least I think so...)

Found your journal through historygrads. I'll be in Bloomington next year - Russian/Central Asian history MA/PhD.

PS. Nice taste in music. I rarely come across Weakerthans fans.

Congratulations on getting in. I've added you back. I study 20th century African American radicalism, so I am far afield from your work. But feel free to bounce any IU history questions off me.

I should warn you that I complain a fair amount my undergrads and qualifying exams, which some people find off-putting. I do not understand these people :)

My name is Christina, and I like Banana Foster champagne cocktails.
