I've been downloading some old bluegrass and country music while working on my teaching plans, and the old memories of my childhood out on the farm came rushing back.  Our close neighbors used to have humongous community parties where we had hayrides, other games, tons of barbeque and soul food with music going till the wee hours of the morning.  ( Read more... )

you might enjoy old 97's then,
they have an old country sound like when rock and country had a smilar sound. not bluegrass though and you cant get them for a wedding but good music.

Uhm, I think my Uncle Louis used to play harmonica... or was that my grandfather? Aside from that... nope.

And how would bluegrass fit in at a Scottish wedding?
