What is your take on farting in front of your boyfriend/girlfriend?

do you think it's a 'bonding' experience, that people in love should feel comforable enough to do in front of eachother?

or...

do you feel that it's something better left to the privacy of your own space?

It depends on how close the two of you are. If you've been together for a while (lets say 6 months or more), then I think it's fine. At that point a couple should feel more than comfortable with doing anything around each other.

If your honey has a fetish for that sorta thing, no question... fart up a storm if ya like! (VERY common fetish BTW)

If not, maybe its best to ask your significant other weather or not your fart smell would be a welcome addition to their space, an occasionally tolerated guest, or would it be an all out invasion of their air space.

Sleep is an exception... Anything done while sleeping has to be free of retribution. Yanno, if youre asleep, you dunno what your body is doing. I walk, talk, carry on nonsensical conversations, and even perform some simple tasks while sleeping...
Its prolly safe to say that it doesnt matter who im sleeping near, I bet I fart too.

If an occasional one slips- oops....oh well. It happens, everyone will get over it.

But making a show out of it like so many guys like to do is fucking gross.

My ex used to try and fart on me. Vomit. He didn't so much like when it was done back to him though. Burping and farting is just not something that needs applause.

well...if you can hold it, I say excuse yourself...but...if you have had children & you don't even notice anymore because there is no holding it, I say do it..discretely..

I'm still not totally sold on the 'hold it' part....I've heard that sentiment before. You can tell when somethings a brewin'...you just gotta heed the warning signs!
of course...I dont have to worry about that...being born without an anus.

definitely not a bonding experience...
based on personal experience, it's not a big deal. my boyfriend and i have used the bathroom in front of eachother (ok that sounds a lot stranger than it is), but i don't know. we're just gross i think.
