There's an LJ user who makes a bunch of icons like this; I forget the name but they're credited on my icon list. It's based on an Eddie Izzard sketch that I absolutely adore (as it also applies to Episcopalians).

Hm... You're alive. That's usually a good sign. Quite a bulk of an update, though. But you have been away for a bit.

I'm really not sure what to say about the educational situations, since I never took those classes myself. But from personal experience - make sure your counselor is a decent one, Try to balance work, stress, and relaxation (get in some of each - well, maybe not the stress), and I'd wait to see if you can handle honors stuff or not. If not, then just let it go. Your mother would probably complain about it either way. But mothers are supposed to complain - everyone needs some nagging force of motivation, after all. She's possibly trying to look out for you in at least some way, even if she's not being very diplomatic about it at all.

All in all, sorry things seem to be a mess. Give it time, effort, and hit it a few times with a hammer, and hopefully it'll all sort out.
