My Stardust Melody, Chapter 10

                "It seems my fiancé has been a busy boy," Julian observed mildly.  He stepped forward into the solarium, and Luke could see the harsh angles of his narrow face.  Julian's grey hair had been swept straight back away from his temples, emphasizing what had once been a ruggedly handsome face.  His smile was tight against his teeth.

Thank you! It's weird how much I like writing angst--I am so anti-angst in my own life. I must be exorcising hidden demons or something.

There's a fix on its way! Some parts may be fixed sooner than others, however...

Oh my friggin' God! It took me 2 days to read this, because once Damian started spewing his lies to Reid, I had to leave it. I am absolutely torn apart!

Sorry Traci! If it's any consolation, you should get a bit of a breather in the next chapter. In fact, come to think of it, I think this is probably the rock bottom of the angst. Now some humor and a faster plot should start to flow into the story (not that it would take much to speed up the tempo since I spent 10 chapters on one freaking day).

Well thank God! I'm one of the few that hates angst. I can take it in small doses, but man - that was one heavy dose! I wanted to throttle Damian and Julian!

Thanks, Traci. I don't blame you for feeling that way about angst, and I pretty much set out to create a way to absolutely destroy the guys without each other one knowing it. So, yeah, definitely a heavy dose here.

Sadly, I love Damian and I made him just awful in this story.

Catching up! I don't like Damian here. Poor Reid! How could Damian lie like that? Grrr!
