Happy holidays, everyone!  Just a little heads up that I'm going to try to post another chapter of My Stardust Melody this month.  With the busyness of the season, it's hard to find time to write--not to mention that it's hard for my betas to find time to beta, too.  So...if there's a bit of  lag, I apologize

I am SO freakin' behind on everyone's fic! RL has been so crazy for me as well. I helped moderate the Big Bang, and I think I've been able to read 4 of them (and 2 only because I beta'd them

Hmmm, it actually makes me feel a bit better that you haven't had time to read all the BB fics either. :) When I started in this fandom, I read EVERYTHING. And I commented on most of them. But now, and really for the past year, I just haven't been able to make the time commitment, even though there are fewer and fewer stories being published

Dearest Lady P. - I don't like what I have to read - you leaving 'LuRe - long-fictioning', and I do hope MAYBE you'll change your mind (fingers crossed) because I love your writing.
Well I laughed so hard about your SaintReid comment. For me it's just the opposite, I have so many issues with SaintLuke :) maybe that's the reason I happily excuse all of Reid's possible flaws...

It's the only real soap I ever watched - and only since Reid showed up. My instant love for Reid surprised me endlessly, since ESS is so not the type of man I feel attracted to, so he MUST be really special :)

As for the plot of your story darkening... honestly I don't see what's so awful about Reid... Luke also did stupid things and of course so did Damien and I am struggling with Maddie's and Faith's behavior, downplaying Reid risking his life to save Luke...but you already know that :)
But my disagreeing on two character's behavior would never prevent me from reading your story!

I haven't had the chance to read any of the BB stories but I always take the time to read your updates. Can't wait.

LOL. I hate to admit that I'm just hoping I can get the next chapter out before the end of the month. I've got a draft of it, but it's definitely rough at this stage.

Without intending to, this story got darker and darker as time went on. Anytime I could make Reid say something awful, I took the opportunity. I swear this must be my subconscious answer to Saint!Reid, one of my pet-peeves in LuRe fics.I'm so glad there are more LuRe fans who feel this way. I don't like the guys having such a perfect life or relationship even though I do think they could and would be together for a loooong time, if not forever. I don't see Reid letting Luke go anytime soon

I'm more of a Reid fan, but I don't like to see Reid be perfect. And I totally agree that their are probably more Reid fans than Luke's, which is what likely skews stories heavily in Reid's favor. However, to me, it's just not his character when he knows how to handle every situation. And I don't think Luke would be the only one to cause problems in the relationship. I always saw them as equal partners, both with the same capacity to screw up. Reid is impatient, sarcastic, jealous, devious, and socially awkward--and I wouldn't change that for the world. I like that he rubs people the wrong way. There were plenty of perfect guys on ATWT but none of them appealed to me like Reid--he seemed more real to me than the others. I could probably go on for a hundred paragraphs about this.

Yeah, RL gets in the way of writing way too much!

I love this story and the sour bits will make the ending even more sweet.

I hope you get to write and publish your story. I will buy your book as soon as it is out because i love your writing.

I didn't go looking for a gay pairing to follow but like you i fell for these two.
And because of the crappy writing on atwt i found on-line story's to forget what was shown on the show. I loved your first story in the important parts.

And i can't wait to read about Luke playing his stardust melodie in a big hall earning big bucks with help from Reid.
