Thus far, New Year's Eve was much like the previous day.  Reid brought Luke some coffee and doughnuts in the morning, a mile-high sandwich at lunch, and then a plate of spaghetti with meat sauce for dinner.  Conversations with Luke had been a little less awkward but brief.   Reid had been tempted to bring up some of the concerns Maddie had, but

Hooray for updates!

I rather enjoyed their little New Year's Eve visit. I'm glad Luke turned out to be the card shark. Reid can't be the master at everything you know.

You did a marvelous job building the tension between the two around the countdown. I could see Luke completely fixated on the television to keep himself from kissing Reid. Reid may think he's the only one fighting feelings but we all know Luke is helplessly waging a losing battle of his own.

This was a good night for the both of them. Freely talking about things and Reid agreeing to go see Damian is very good.
Love the tension building up between them.

And the card game was fun. Luke beating Reid is priceless and who knew Nathalie would beat even Henry? I like that she's a little Lucinda.

Woohooooo new chapter!! So much tension between them and I'm loving it. I know it's way too soon but I do hope they'll have their very special New Year's moment next year. Thanks for another great update!

Something tells me Reid's not going to succeed, hmm hmm. But then I gotta admit, I'll really enjoy seeing him fail at that. ;)

I am truly enjoying this version of Reid, who wants to do everything for Luke. Not that he wasn't like that on the show but here, he's actually desperate and I like that. Hee.

And I do think Luke is coming around. Asking Reid to accompany him to see Damian? Yup, Luke needs Reid too.
