I really tempted fate with that last post and wouldn't you know it, on Friday night/Saturday morning my neighbors must have gone on a drug binge because they listened to techno, louder than ever, from midnight until 10am. When it work me up during the night I was able to fall back to sleep but at 8 am, I was awake and it was unpleasant. I knocked ( Read more... )

Hey, they charge you something like £2.50 for a tall version of that drink - that price is equal to regular latte + syrup + whipped cream, so if you don't get the whipped cream, you are cheating yourself out of 25p.

It bugs me that they don't put the whipped cream on by default on this drink - even though it's in the description and you pay for it. The barrista says, 'Whipped Cream?" I say 'Hell yes!"

They don't do the hot apple cider in London!

In fact you can't get non-alcoholic american style apple cider anywhere in the country. I miss it! I should totally take a trip to the US just for this!!!
