my mother was thinking she had shingles on saturday, the symptoms slowly started about 2 weeks ago and a rash started thuesday, she had a doctors appointment for this coming tuesday, but after some research on my part and finding out that if you catch it early enough and get on anti viral medication the lenth and saverity of it could be reduced

my mother just had shingles(after her best friend contracted it months before)it sounds like such an uncomfortable,horrid illness.good for you for influencing her to get it checked out fast- speedy healing to your mom.

My mom had shingles, not long after i was born.

I've had shingles before. Them shits itch but when you touch it it hurts so bad! Lucky for me I didnt have it that bad...just on one of my hips.

I had shingles when I was 8. Apparently it comes out when you're run down...often appears just after an illness of another sort. Tell her to look after herself and try to increase her immune system. Hopefully she'll be over it soon.
