I slept through the blackout today. It's not too surprising since I slept through all the baby earthquakes we had back in June. I always miss out on the L.A. catastrophes ( Read more... )

It couldn't have been much worse than normal L.A. traffic...

I like a lot of Lennon's stuff but McCartney was just way more sane.

At USF the parking is horrific the first week of class, then people stop attending (myself included) then the parking is fine. Living off campus does contribute more to not going to class, what's the point? I have to drive alllll the way over there to sit in a 3 hour class, then I decide to take a nap instead, naps are always good.

Last year I slept through all 3 hurricanes that came by my house...

I had a hard enough time making it to class when I lived in the dorms, now I'm beginning to think I'll never be on campus...

Thankfully my teachers are having mandatory attendance this semester...that's the only motivation I have to go to class...sadly enough.

Is UCLA on facebook, do you know?

Yeah, the facebook is pretty big here but I'm trying to avoid it as much as possible for the same reason I'm avoiding myspace...I already have too many addictions.

Sounds like your so ready to go back to school. I missed all the major earthquakes when I lived in calif. I was there only for minor ones I think the worst was when some cans fell out of my cupboard *tragic* heehee.

I keep jars near my wash machine. Everytime I check the wash and pockets for change i put it in the jars. It can rack up to lots of $. Sort of sucks alot of places charge you now to convert your coinage.

I always tend to lose my change unless it's in my car. I mean I have change all over the house, I'm just never sure where any of it is...

save a jar and collect it all up!!!!!!!!! sheesh! I used to be the same way actually. Then I started a jar just out of sheer curiosity to how much a jar of coins really amounted to........cashed it in.......400 dollars in small change! It rocked. So I consider all the change I find my 'tip' and I love cashing it in.

All of my favorite Beatles songs were written by McCartney, i.e., "Let It Be," "Yesterday," "Hey Jude," "Penny Lane," "Eleanor Rigby..." - I always thought Lennon was talented and he wrote some amazing songs too but I think he spent a little too much time on acid.

haha that's probably true. i always loved john though, and i think it's just gross that paul's married to a girl younger than his oldest daughter.
