Avon, the company for women, right? WRONG!

I work for Avon. I've worked for Avon for almost three years. Not long considering some of the histories of the women that I work with. But in my three short years, I have NEVER seen such a blatant disregard for women as what I've seen at the Avon bulletin boards over the last year. There actually was a comment left to this post, but I inadvertently deleted it whilst cleaning up the rest of the journal. Here is the comment that was left, anonymously of course (no surprise there...)

You kinda forgot to mention that there are several man-hating women on the Avon site that are constantly harrasing the men. The men are just replying to you and your friend's hateful remarks. No doubt the original poster is now going to post that I am harrassing her, when in fact all I have done is point out the "other side". In an argument there are always two sides. The OP only wants people to hear hers. I suspect that once Avon learns that they have a rep that is bad mouthing the company, she will be gone and there will not be a problem any longer."

Are you an Avon representative? Then you don't work for Avon.

I think most smart people get the picture here. The point isn't whether I work FOR Avon or as an independent sales rep. Fact is, since I have to follow of the rules or I don't get to sell Avon, I view it was I work "for" them. Of course, symantecs being what they are, I can understand why certain people would pick that out of the entry rather than the crux of the problem: the fact that Avon is ignoring constand harassing and abuse. I suppose that's something YOU don't see going on, though, do you?
