Thunder Bay got some snow!

It's been snowing here for over 24 hours now. We didn't even bother venturing outside yesterday although we probably should have done some shoveling to make today's shoveling a little easier. The snow came to just below my knees while wading through our driveway and I was surprised that I could get the gate open to the back yard so I could grab our ( Read more... )

I think I have all season tires. I'm not really sure. It's the tires that came on the car when I bought it several years ago.

My car is pretty good in the snow.

must be a great feeling to know u can go to work without having to get out of your house? but can't use the excuse i'm snowed in my house and can't go to work.. ;)

Alrighty, having never lived anywhere where snow is a problem I have a question.

If this sort of thing happens, does this give you a generally acceptable reason for being late to work? Or is it common enough that you should be expecting it, and have to get your ass up an hour early just in *case* it snowed while you were asleep?

With this much snow, yea, it's a pretty good excuse for being late to work. I think it mostly depends on your boss and type of work though ( ... )
