Mass today was so great! The priest was a dude from the Congo and he wore a green robe with a leopard print stola, along with a pair of white converse sneakers and a pair of khaki pants. His English was totally musical and very captivating to listen to ( Read more... )

Of course God still loves you! He'll never stop.

Man, if I could meet a priest like that, I would so start going to church again. There needs to be more like him. And one of them needs to move to Michigan.

It's funny how much I don't want to believe that God could love someone as ungodly as me. I had a very godless week. But we're on the up and up now... so it's cool.

Plus this guy was just incredible. I don't really feel like I ought to rely on a priest in order to keep the faith, but sometimes it is really important to have that sense of community led by a strong person. The priesthood is important.
