Never mind increasing the money to the existing child protection services! It would be enough of an improvement if they would stop cutting the budget to the Australian Federal Police’s Online Child Sexual Exploitation Team, which just took a 2.8 million dollar hit to help finance this idiotic firewall...

It's so strange, isn't it, that Conroy looks less and less like someone actually trying to prevent child abuse and more and more like someone who wants to censor information and opinions he doesn't agree with...

What I can't seem to find out is who decides what is black listed? Are they representatives of the public like the AG's Classification Board for film and video/PC games? Or are the nameless public servants?

Stilgherrian says they've received a thousand questions already, just on the censorship thing. That's approximately 20 questions for every normal ABC viewer...
