Have a lot of patience and do prepare well for your lectures. You may have to explain the same old thing in multiple simple ways.
And try to avoid making your students feel completely hopeless about themselves even if they seem pretty damn hopeless to you. Chances are that you'll have to develop diplomatic ways of encouraging people on one level without giving them false hopes.

Do you know who you are interviewing with? Woolhouse is a great teacher and one of the heads of the math department. She teaches the way I mentioned. She also gives outside projects to help students wrap their minds around the concepts.
