Fics: (V) Juliet Parrish angst
Summary: Three short looks at Julie angst.
Timeline: Lets say all over the place.
Julie has survived.
She wonders sometimes why she's been left alive. Why she's been allowed to keep breathing as her friends die violent deaths, sometimes right next to her. Julie remembers a time when she didn't know how to clean a gun, a time when she'd never held one. She remembers the only blood she had on her hands was in biology class when she was learning how to save lives, instead of taking them. When she's running, or hiding from gunshots nothing is on her mind but her survival and that of her people, but when she's alone, laying down with her gun beside her and She tries not to dwell on the past, she fails miserably every time.
She watches The Freedom Network every chance she gets. Everyday some new disaster. Everyday more deaths, more resistance fighters dead, caught, turned. She looks at the hero spotlight and it gives her hope some days that humanity will survive.
She hopes that one day The Freedom Network will no longer be needed.
She's 42 when Diana finally shoots her in the stomach and watches her die. The lizard and she don't share words, they just stare at each other as Julie grunts and feels the blood on her hands. Julie dies looking into her enemies eyes.
