Let me understand this: Your friend bought you a photo session gift card, worth $200. You go. Get the pictures done but no pictures? What. The. Fuck? So by asking for digital pictures over print (which is by FAR cheaper and more green) she wants to charge you an arm and a leg for less than 50 frames? That doesn't make a bit of sense.

I think she needs a better business plan. I would file a complaint with all the local consumer report boards in your area too. She needs some help in understanding that her practices will not help her grow her business but significantly hinder it.

Course, I don't know what the standards are in the field of photography either. Either way, bad business practices abound in this case.

Yeah, seemed like a huge rip off to me too. But I've told close to 4,000 people about her, so I feel that karma has been served on this one.
