Supersprint did not record separate bike and T2 for me, so these are from my Garmin. One of them is over by about six seconds. This was last Sunday.
I really like the Portarlington course. And the weekend away doesn't hurt too. This time two of my friends also came down for the weekend and it was super fun to hang out with them after training and after the tri, and have them cheer for me! <3 I drove down myself and stayed in a house organised by my club. The race itself was fairly uneventful. I didn't get a drafting penalty, so good on me (improvement from last year). I also definitely felt better on the run than last year, although still not amazing.

My friends were amazed that I was smiling throughout the race.
I was pretty excited when Supersprint called me up as a 1st place for the Athenas! A gold medal and a bag of goodies to boot. Unfortunately the results were later revised to show the true winner, Claire Brown (I didn't see her all day so I assumed she hadn't actually raced). Supersprint has still not contacted me about this but presumably I will have to hand the stuff over to her/them at some point. A little bit bummed after a nice surprise but it would be even nicer to genuinely win one day.

Excited but inaccurate
In the afternoon on Sunday we had lunch/afternoon tea at Point Lonsdale, which is probably the closest point on the western side of Port Philip Bay, to Fort Nepean on the eastern side. You can see it!! Which is quite a trip. It also has an incredibly picturesque pier, and we saw a seal out playing on the sandbar. So, pretty much perfect.

Corporate tri
This was on 2 March. My third time. This time I was third in my team. No weird bike mishaps with my teams this year, thankfully.
Results Total: 1:00:13
Swim (run + 400m): 12:22
Bike (T1 + 10km + T2): 25:10
Run (4km): 22:40
My times appear to be the same or possibly slightly worse than
last year.
I'm kind of over corporate tri TBH. It's nice to bond with my workmates but it's such a hassle and requires so much more stuffing around than a regular tri.
