It's no secret that Spain is not a vegetarian paradise. Nonetheless moving here two weeks ago has brought home just how much I will need to embrace home cooking. (Well that and my bank balance dwindling without a salary!) On my fifth full day in Spain, here are my initial impressions.

Despite a few nightmares about missing flights pre-departure, my flights went fine and I was able to adjust my sleep schedule quite quickly. In the past couple of weeks I have become much more interested in rap. I am not sure why except as procrastination for redoing my CV. I bought Kanye's Yeezus and when Nicki Minaj's third album is released I will probably be buying it that day.
