Wow! what an update, you could really feel Xander's fear and pain.
The world is full of narrow-minded people who believe the whole 'you shall burn in hell' when not living to the expectations of someone.It must have been doubly hard for Xander being raised in such strict surroundings and even knowing how his parents will react doesn't stop the hurt.to register the burning, stabbing pain in his heart at her rejection, even though it was expected.
As usual another great update!!

Well...I kind of have to empathize with Xander's parents. I mean, WE want to say that they're bigots, but at the same time, it's really the whole nature v. nurture thing going on. This is their fundamental belief, how they've been raised. It's hard to change that.

Writing this chapter was really painful for me because I had to draw on a lot of personal experience for parts of it. Just know that Tony and Jessica aren't completely hopeless -- after all, this story isn't a tragedy...
