I am interested to see what they are going to do that morning they wake up. How will they decide together what they should do? Where they should go if anywhere.

I think you'll be pleasantly surprised. The thing is is that neither of them are so dependent on the other anymore. It's a much healthier relationship now, or it will be, because it's something that they have to agree to together. Angel will still most likely be the dominant one (at least sexually) in the story, because Xander in all of his incarnations is usually a bottom -- to women in cannon BtVS as well -- but decision-wise, they're equals now.
