Amazon Vs. B&N

I have both a Nook, and a Kindle. Today while trying to delete a app from my kindle, I had to chat with Amazon customer service. Hi Patty,

I suggest that you send a copy of this post to B & N and let them know that you posted it for your many friends to see.

It would be interesting to see how they respond - if they do - but many companies really appreciate feedback so they can improve customer service.

I've also found Amazon customer service to be quite good.

Enjoy your Kindle-without-that-app. :))

Amazon has always been amazing to deal with no matter the situation. I have never had a frustrating phone call and/or chat with them in all the years I've used them.

B&N? I try my hardest to never use them. Yes, I have a first edition nook that I use on a daily basis, but most things are it are .pdf files or .epub that I have personally created for my own use. (Basically, it holds my fanfic.) I still have a few dollars left on a gift card my sister gave me two years ago for Christmas. Still haven't finished using it up because I just stopped shopping with them ( ... )

I LOVE Amazon! I've been a Prime member for a while now, and it's really just a win-win situation all around. Kindle is great. I use the Kindle app on my iPad. Years ago, my mom bought the Nook for my aunt because she said she wanted one. When I went to visit, my mom asked me if I could help them learn how to use it because they couldn't figure it out. What a pain in the ass that device was! I finally did get it all set up for her, but I did not like it at all. It lagged and was so slow. It was too complicated for my aunt to learn how to use, and so it sits collecting dust somewhere in a drawer. Waste of money. I would never recommend a Nook to someone.
