Movie club the third!

So it's that time again, we'll be meeting for our movie club on Saturday, March 29th at 7 as usual, this time at Corey's place. This week we'll be watching the 1949 thriller The Third Man, which in only 90 minutes this time. Let me know if you can attend and if you know anyone who's interested, invite them along!

I'll be getting The Unbearable Lightness of Being (yes, they made a movie) in on my netflix at some point. We should watch that at one of these nights. It's one of the few movies that have 100% rating on RT. Plus the book was absolutely great.

Tomas is a doctor and a lady-killer in 1960s Czechoslovakia, an apolitical man who is struck with love for the bookish country girl Tereza; his more sophisticated sometime lover Sabina eventually accepts their relationship and the two women form an electric friendship. The three are caught up in the events of the Prague Spring (1968), until the Soviet tanks crush the non-violent rebels; their illusions are shattered and their lives change forever.
