Price Gougers are still jackasses.

Urgh. So, yeah. Still no decent prices for Ghoulia and Holt (Especially when you want to ship internationally.)
But what makes it worse is that these Gougers are also lazy. So I search, and see a pic of both Holt and Ghoulia, for $88 total! International shipping! I'm like: Yeah! Finally! A bit high, but not unreasonably so. And in Euros, it's even ( Read more... )

I've always been so confused--why are they called gougers when they are inflating the price, rather than cutting it down?

I don't know. Can't say my grasp of the English language is perfect and I've only seen it used in this way of saying. I should probably use the term 'Ripping off'.

Well I've seen Americans use it too, and I was confused as to whether it meant too cheap or too expensive, because of the terminology. Usually companies talk about 'gouging prices' when they are cutting them in half or something.
