Beneficial
Wilson hated migraines. That was nothing unusual; those who suffered from the ailment almost always loathed them and those who didn’t belonged in an asylum. The pain, visual distortions, light sensitivity, nausea and vomiting were all from the pit of hell, if such a construct even existed. There wasn’t one benefit that came from a migraine…or was there?
While on his office sofa with a monster migraine Wilson heard the whisper of rustling clothing approach and then felt a prickly kiss tenderly placed on his cheek. The rustling retreated again.
Perhaps there was something good about a migraine after all.
