When you bash the stoic in the face with a bat, the stoic would ask WHY he feels that being bashed in face with a bat is bad. Then the stoic realizes that he THINKS it's bad and that's why it's bad. Thus, when the stoic no longer thinks of it as bad then it's no longer bad.
