We went over to San Francisco to Doctor Kistler who is a friend of Gaylord's and Grandma's. His office is on the 25th floor of a 26 story building and we could see all over the city. Grandma took me for a ride on the cable cars. They certainly are interesting.

This got me curious what the tallest building in Chicago was in 1934 -- it was the Chicago Board of Trade, at 44 stories, until 1965. That's right. 1965.
