Now this was one class Naruto was NOT going to be late for. Already having been to the changing room right after lunch, the blonde was ready for this PE class he'd heard so much abour. Apparently this Gai guy was a real character so Naruto was more than happy to see for himself.

Jogging outide to the appropriate meeting place, stopping as his supposed sensei came into view. He stopped... and observed... then twitched. 'Whats with the bugs on the guys face...?!'

Sakura made her way onto the grassy field, she blushed when she came to a stop before Naruto, her hands tugging helplessly at the short gym shorts the school forced them to wear as uniform. I swear! The guy who designed the school uniforms must be a pervert! She was at least thankful the shirts were a simple white t-shirt, however if it ever were to rain outside... Damn them!

Realizing Naruto was pre-occupied staring at something, she took it upon herself to turn in the direction where his eyeline focused and gawked at the sight before her. Her jaw dropped open as she pointed and stared at their sensei, "Wh-what...is that?" She couldn't keep her eyes off of the fuzzy eyebrows...

Neji sighed as he stepped onto the training field. Another year with that lunatic of a gym teacher. The only good thing that had come of last year was his stamina had increased. The class was nearly deadly. He looked at the freshman and pitied them. At least he knew what was coming.

Catching sight of an unusual boy with what looked to be pearly, white eyes, Sakura rubbed her emerald orbs. Opening them back up she realized he really did possess that colorless iris, pupils as well. Realizing the way he looked at the students as if he knew something they didn't, Sakura's attention became even more focued on the long-haired individual. Intrigued, she stepped away from her blond friend, who was apparently still gawking at their sensei's 'unique' appearance.

As she approached the boy, a chill flew down her spine unexpectedly, causing the pink-haired girl to shiver. What was this aura she felt around this guy? Gulping, she pressed onward, thinking it was just a cool breeze that caught her off guard. Stopping beside him, she didn't look at him, but simply stated, "Is there something we should know about our sensei?" She raised a brow, her eyes completely focused on the pair of thick, bushy eyebrows and mushroom cut that belonged to their gym teacher for this semester.

It was going to be a long year.

Neji regarded the girl who had approached him cooly. Pink hair? Perhaps she dyed it. "Tch" He jerked his chin in the direction of the insane spandex clad teacher. " Maito-sensei...runs 300 laps around the school every morning before class, then puts each class through a workout untill they drop." He tilted his head tot he side" Objectively, he is very professional about it and though he works you to near collapse he never passes that point and he forces you to warm up and cool down so you're still mobile at the end of the clas...but that's being fair." His voice didn't change from that of a monotonous observation as the corner of his lips curled into an odd smile. " In essence...you're going to get your ass worked off and he will rant incessently about youth, energy and Hatake-san."

Kankuro sighed loudly as he reluctantly made his way out to the field where his gym class was going to be. He hate this class: The uniform, the smells, the whole...excercising deal. He woulda skipped if he hadn't been "encouraged" by his sister to go. Once he reached the feild, face already fixed into a scowl, he crossed his arms and just intended to get this down as. soon. as. possible.

[Shikamaru skipped his first day of gym, lets say, since Im on hiatus.

But, I wanted to drop by and say that we're encouraging actual posts like this to be done on the main community so that the "plot" is easier to follow. I'd appreciate it being done in the future.

Seeing the students gathered Gai finished his kata with a loud yell. He bowed as he always did then walked towards the students.

"HELLO STUDENTS I AM MAITO GAI, ONCE KNOWN AS THE BEAUTIFUL GREEN BEAST IN MARTIAL ARTS CIRCLES!" He posed,teeth glinting in the sun,the warmth of teaching filling his heart.
" PLEASE...line up in the order that I call you..." Gai pulled an attendance sheet from somewhere in his spandex and brandeshed it with a flourish.

" Haruno, Sakura....Kankuro..., Nara Shikamaru....Uzumaki Naruto....Hyuuga Neji..." He looked up as he called the names. "
