Well, I just finished reading Court of the Air - Stephen Hunt which was a complex tale of political steampunk adventure.

Today I started Nation by Terry Pratchett.

I've not a very good sample space at the moment, though. My reading has been seriously curtailed by a pressing need to study :-/

Hmm, looks like quite a UK-centric list to me. From the article, I'd only heard of Feather Man - Australian author, won last year's Barbara Jefferis award. I'd seen the covers of some of the others online or heard of them in other ways, but not read any of them. I'd just assumed it was my wacky tastes. *grin*

I think I'm confused. I thought I was coming back into Sydney on Melbourne Cup day but since the cup's been won I think that might not be the case -- especially as I'm now in Singapore! Sigh.
