Fandom Swap, wot?
Yesterday a friend of mine asked me if I had ever considered writing Veronica Mars fic. And like, of course I have, but for one reason or other I've been to scared or timid to attempt it. I'm never sure how well-received non-HP fic will be and if there's one thing that really sucks in fandom, it's working hard on a fic only to get no feedback on it. So then, driving to work this morning listening to some Jo-Jo and rocking out I thought, "What about an exchange? I'd love to see what some of my favorite HP writers do with other fandoms, and it would be awesome to get some new blood and new ideas in HP-dome." And the fandom swap was born.
BUT, I realize that I have very little pull in fandom, and me being like, "Hey guys, let's do this awesome thing!" is tantamount to the sound of one hand clapping. So. A poll to guage interest. And those of you on my f-list who DO have some influence (I'm looking at you, goldie, rosesanguina, marksykins, emmagrant01, charlotteschaos, silentauror, and anise_anise), if you like the idea, pimp this poll so I can get a better idea of whether people would actually participate.
