So! I know it might seem like I disappeared off the face of the planet, and in some ways that's a little true, but mostly I'm just busy with work (very busy with work, blergh) and trying to deal with the rheumatoid arthritis. Or rather, trying to deal with the treatment, which seems to be helping to slow down the progression of the disease ( Read more... )

Hey, nice to see you...too bad I can't be in Dallas at that time. I hope it's fun!

It's going to be great! I think I have someone who wants to go, though, so yay :) How have you been?? Are you so happy that Biels is gone??

I'm good and I hope you are too...the Biels break up was strangely anti-climatic...maybe because I knew it would happen sooner or later.

Oh, Shelfy. But I do so looooove making fun of her :P My friends can't understand why I hated her so much in the A-Team. Maybe because she's the only bad thing about that movie and if they'd just gotten someone who wasn't completely horrible to play that character...

Sorry for the "side effects" of the treatment, but at least treatment is generally a positive, yeah?

Long time no type! Glad to see you.

Have a great time at the show!

Yeah, the side effects are pretty awful, but worth it to keep my immune system from eating my joints and tendons :/

The show will be awesome!! I'm really excited :)

I will actualfax fight anyone who tries to say that NKOTB don't put on a good show. That show was so fun, and funny, and flawless. I'm smiling just thinking about it.

I'll be seeing them in San Antonio, or else I'd gladly help you out with the ticket. I hope you have a good time! (And I hope your treatment starts taking it easier on you sometime very soon. <3)

I hope so too, but unfortunately my rheumatologist just increased my dosage :( That's ok. I have "medicine" that counters the side effects for the most part, so unless I'm actualfax sick (which I am now, but only because of stupid cedar fever turning into sinus infection, blergh), I can usually handle it ok.

NKOTB was so awesome. That was a really super fun trip! I kind of wish you could go to Dallas instead of San Antonio just so we could recreate the awesomeness, but oh well! As soon as I posted this to facebook, one of my co-workers rushed into my office to ask if I was serious about having an extra ticket :P I don't even know if he's an NKOTB or a BSB fan, but he is VERY excited.

Ugghh. If I didn't have to work at the ass crack of dawn that Monday (and cannot miss a day of summer school work) I would be all over that! I'm going to see them here on the 17th, but would LOVE seeing them again with you guys. :(

Have fun!!! I'm sure you will find someone to take that ticket off of your hands.

I found someone!! A guy at work really wants to go, so that turned out well. Now I even have someone to drive up with! And!! You are seeing them in a WEEK OMG. I need to set a reminder to watch out for a post from you about it! I don't know anything about the show, what they're planning or anything, which is kind of exciting in a way. That's what happens when all I do is work and exercise and watch SGU on netflix, though :P I don't know anything about anything!

I was with you until the cherry slush analogy! lol

CANNOT WAIT FOR THIS.

lol, you missed the cherry slushie. I think it was someone else's cherry slushie, actually, but they spilled it and you know how we were sitting in that front row of the raised section? Well the slushie trickled down the rows from behind and ended up flowing under my chair and right between my legs. Which, when we took a picture of it (as you do, because everyone needs a pic of the GROUND at a concert...) looked less like a period and more like an abortion, or maybe like a Scream victim :P It made sense at the time!!
