I've read 10 of those books, my favorite book is on the list! (Watership Down). I'm glad I'm slightly above average but I'll definitely have to refer back to this list for some classics I've missed out on.

I have about twenty five to twenty eight. (Complete works and series caught me on a technicality, since I haven't read alllll of the author's stuff, only some of it.)

If you liked Heart of Darkness you would probably love Ulysses. It's nice to see James Joyce on the list.

This was a really beautiful entry, by the way. I think that's a rare memory, to know the first time you recognized what music was.

Thanks. This memory suddenly popped up in my head and I knew I'd better get it down on paper before I lost it again.

Some of the these 'complete works of' books had these exact words in the title. I doubt they're really complete in the true sense, but I read them anyway.

I had to scroll through the whole list just to locate Watership Down. Heh. I didn't even know some of these books existed.

I've lost count of exactly how many books I have read from this list when I crossed 23...but I am guessing about 26-29 out of those...Not so bad when compared to the average :)
