why can't the show have dean and cas work out their problems in such a meaningful way like this? this is is beautiful. Cas' aversion to talking about what's wrong is definitely something he's learned from Dean--in multiple different ways, and you wrote Dean's realisation of this in such a poignant way without it coming across as too heavy-handed.
this is just really excellent. and Meg at the end is just perfect.
