awww sweetie...that windy stage is awful isnt it? I remember it was so hard to burp Taj around this period for about two or three weeks, then their internal system seems to mature a bit and the wind gets pushed out by bubs too...

The plunkett nurse showed me an awesome way to burp such a tiny little wiggle, she put him on his back and cycled his legs and then picked him up... he burped like a trooper and it seemed to help.

I dont know if that is of any help? Maybe?

let me know how hes going and everything...if you need to talk Im here...
Love u

so i found out last night that it isnt pain that makes him scream every night it is his way of dealing with all the new sensations and stimulation from the day. apparently it should pass in a week or 2 which is a relief... until then bring it on little man, your mum knows your not in pain so its a whole lot easier to deal with!

so yeah... feeling heaps better about it all now, knowing that it isnt something that i was eating or something that i was doing wrong etc.

Thanks for the tips though... the cycling of the legs definitely works a treat.
Xav doesnt seem to have any problems in the burping department (take after his mum!) which is why i couldnt work out why after his afternoon/evening feed he would just scream. but... now i know :D

The joys of getting to know your little one :D
