I have a myspace page. It has no design or theme songs as best I can tell, and I check it approximately never unless I get an email that one of my friends has sent me a message. Ussually this message is from my sister, and I havent the foggiest idea why she doesnt just email me, but every once in a while its a message from someone I hardly see and miss terribly. Also, occasionally old friends successfully track me down on myspace. So its not a very invasive force in my life, its just kind of chillin in the background and occasionally helping me reconnect with old friends. facebook on the otherhand, now thats eating my soul.
i have a myspace page and use it pretty much how the person above me does, except i check it more often because I like to stalk other people, too ;)
as for AIM, I rarely have cause to chat online when I'm at home. when I'm at work, I'm almost always at least marginally on googlechat (don't expect quick responses...it is WORK afterall) talking to my friend Jen. Most of our conversations revolve around how bored we are.
I have one, and also check it almost never. I think I'm going to get rid of it soon, especially since all my 15 year old students have them and that's just weird.
I'm never on AIM anymore, mostly on googlechat, since it's part of my gmail setup and therefore easy to use.

Yeah. I guess my problem is that, now that I've begun to use Outlook to consolidate my email, I'm therefore never on gmail correctly. But maybe I'll start trying...
