LOST: Bracing for the End (SPOILERS about Seasons 1-5)

I have to say, as much as I've loved LOST, and as much as I still enjoy it as gripping television, now that the final season is just about over, I do have to concede that it was not a well-written show

I somehow feared this would all turn into a mess by the end. Look at Alias. I'm just glad there wasn't a giant red ball floating over the island inexplicably. I have had all the same problems as you...that they are basically saying nothing that came before they decided Jacob was this hippie in white (as opposed to his first appearance as a terrifying bearded apparition), mattered. As NotLocke said, "You told her not to talk to me. That made her pointless." And everything else in the series.

I forgot about the button pushing in Season Two. I remember when they first pushed that button and I said to Kar3n, "If this becomes a show about pushing that stupid button, I'm gonna be pissed." And sure enough...
