I'm back home now until the end of August. And boy, was my trip ever epic! 74 hours on the greyhound. That's right: 3 days, 2 hours. When you're paying only $160(+tax) to go from Montreal to Vancouver, you're bound to meet some colourful people too. Observe...

Oh man, Greyhounding it from Toronto to Vancouver was awesome. The people in this country are rediculously strange. On one of my busses there was a guy wearing a 20 year old suit that hadnt been washed since he bought it, judging from the smell, and he had coffee stained fingernails. Gross man.

haha yeah man. The guy in Exhibit A was wearing a moo-moo. You had Tanya with you and, on one trip, a whole lotta shrooms so it must've been a little more eventful than my trip. I just brought a shitload of academic books to read.

I think I might take the trip more easily with company.

LMAONADE!!!!!!

I can't believe you took the bus, that's vicious! I once did a round trip from Worcester, MA. to rural Missouri. That was about 35 hours each way. Wow, so yours was even longer than my round trip!

It was pretty damn dull. Imagine doing your round trip all in one go. It's good to be able to say that you've done it though.

I took the bus from Ottawa to Vancouver, I couldn't sleep the whole time and I barely ate or drank anything. Worst trip of my LIFE :O No freakish people though. Just one guy who fell over onto me while he was sleeping, and then instantly woke up, totally horrified at his social faux pas.

I'm usually the same way - I never sleep on airplanes (they're way too exciting!) so I thought I'd have trouble sleeping on the bus. Exhaustion took over for me though and I managed to sleep well. Our first stop was Ottawa. You must've done pretty much the exact same trip.

But then again, nothing can beat my 15 hour bus trip in Spain. Nothing.

What happened? I don't remember reading about that bus ride in your journal. Glad to hear you enjoyed the tales of the crazies. You know you've reached some awesome destinations too when the diners have "No shoes, no shirt, no service" signs.
