MTv VMAs, aka Kanye West is a BITCH
So if you missed last night's 2009 MTv Video Music Awards, you missed a couple of things in the pop-culture world.
Russell Brand was a total git (i'm not British but he is, so that seems the best way to put it).
The Michael tribute was touching and very cool with the dancers in all his legendary outfits. NGL, i choked up a lil when Janet had her "i'm a fierce bitch that ain't gonna cry" face at the end.
And Madge was sufficiently self important but respectful, i didn't mind so much. Her speech was well done.
Leighton Meester looked adorable, as always.
And of course, the most talked about moment.. Kanye West is a douche bag. Poor Taylor..
She's accepting her award, being all genuine and giddy and excited, along comes this arrogant prick to insert his opinion. If you watch it, you can see her just look lost and like she's gonna cry before being shuffled off the stage. WTF?! Way to steal her moment you giant pillar of what-the-fuckery. How is this guy even famous? I feel outta the loop. He's not THAT great an artist to warrant the behavior being acceptable.
Props, however, to Miss Beyonce for giving Tay her moment later on in the show. Classy lady.
Can i just say WTF about Lady Gaga, too? I swear to God, i like her music alright but some of the shit this girl pulls makes me feel old. I just do not get it.
