Dream #1 : I blame Haruhi for this.
The dream begins with Terra walking through a dark forest full of smoke and fog. Sword in one hand, she waves at the air with the other to try and get some idea of where she is. "Hello? Is anyone out there?"
Through the fog, a small shape is just barely visible. Encouraged by the signs of life, Terra quickly makes her way towards it. "Excuse me, hello?"
The person, as she gets closer, is still indistinguishable behind the smoke, but it, he or she, looks no taller than a foot or so. This person slowly turns to face Terra as she hurries over to them. Light plays across the ground, shining through the fog. Terra shades her eyes a bit, and then holds up her own hand, a ball of flame alighting at the center of her palm, shedding further light into the area.
Slow shuffling sounds are heard, as the small figure ahead of her starts to approach, and the fog rolls back. Terra gasps, because the person she sees isn't a person at all. "OH - I'm sorry, you're ..."
She frowns. She's never seen such a person, or a creature, but it was advancing all the same. And the light that becomes visible - that creature held a rusty looking butcher knife, its slow, shambling steps full of purpose. Terra takes a step backwards, "Um - I didn't mean to disturb you, so I'll ... just be going then?"
The Tonberry says nothing, and continues to advance. Now nervous, Terra turns to flee, only to find her feet rooted to the spot. She glances down in confusion, and then upwards:
[ CANNOT ESCAPE FROM BATTLE ]
"What? What is this...!" Fully spazzing by this point, she raises her sword to the approaching creature of doom and death. "I don't want to fight you! Please, leave me be!" It continues to approach. Closer. Closer. "Get away!" Terra yelps finally, hurling that ball of fire she had been holding at the creature.

The Tonberry's eyes glint as Terra's face pales. "No, what are you doing --!" Too late. It's within reach. That rusty butcher knife raises ominously.
Terra screams.
DOINK.
The dream ends.
[ Terra starts up from where she had been camping out under a tree, shaking and confused, with a small yelp. And unaware that people can see her dream. Or more accurately, nightmare. ]
[ OOC Just FYI, this is more cracky than canon - only using the character and monster because Haruhi and I were giggling at the thought. ]
