Dream Effect: A short adrenaline rush from the brief scare, and amusement at the end.
[ It's warm. Almost like baking in an oven, warm - and the chatter of voices around soon is heard. The surroundings appear to be that of a desert town, the images wavering from the heat rising up from the sands. Terra is visible in the dream again, looking to be the same age as she is now, but she's in the company of two other men.
One of the men has dusky skin and blonde hair in a ponytail, while the other is a bit shorter, with brown(or silver depending on your artist) hair. The three split up, saying something about restocking before continuing on - the brown haired man goes towards a booth selling clothing, while the blonde man heads over to a weapons shop. Terra herself opts to go to the item shop and purchase some things - small bottles from the looks of things.
She tilts her head up to look at the sky, the sun beating mercilessly down on the girl. With a huff of air, she brushes her sweat-plastered bangs out of her face, only to hear her name being called. "Hn?" She turns, seeing the brown haired man waving at her.
"Are you ready Terra?" He calls.
Terra shakes her head, "I want to look at the weapons - I need a new sword. One moment, please, Locke?"
Locke nods, and starts to head her way as she walks over to join the blonde man at the weapons booth. They were at opposite ends of said booth, being that they used different weapons, but the blonde man soon approaches Terra.
Only when Terra turns, she gets the scare of her life, seeing her friend wearing a hockey mask and holding a running chainsaw over his head as he gushes, excited, "HEY TERRA WANT TO SEE MY NEW CHAINSAW AND HOCKEY MASK?"
His words ran together into an incoherent ramble. She reacted in the only way that made sense to her.
"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAII!!!!!!!" She screamed at the top of her lungs.
The man known as Locke raced over to where the two were and punched the blonde man in the arm. "Edgar, man, what's wrong with you, you scared her half to death!"
The man named Edgar seemed to realize what he'd done, and quickly turned the chainsaw off, pushing his hockey mask up, sheepish. Before he can utter the apology that was about to come, the dream fades into silence, Terra's eyes opening. ]
.... and as she wakes up, she sits up a moment, thinking about how much she missed her friends. But recalling that moment she can't help but giggle. A dream like that she doesn't mind - especially after how the last few days were.
[ OOC: More crack than Canon, but it could certainly have happened. And it was inspired by
