I've lost a 7 year old lasting friendship simply because I couldn't make it to their wedding on the other side of the country (on time). Seven years of friendship they've found important to break it over one day. Of course I won't deny that marriage is important but it makes me reconsider is ...

Aww, I'm so sorry, Ilonafluff. Believe me when I say I know where you're coming from; I've had a seven-year friendship end over something really stupid as well - I've actually been excommunicated just for skipping someone's turn in a thread once - and my own godmother practically disowned me when I couldn't skip school to be at her wedding. Know that you'll always have a friend in me; I'm so happy we got back in touch, and I'm also happy that I get to be in your pack. X3 I love you!
