You brits also have parties for graduations and such. Don't make it seem like a American being stupid thing, because as you know, I am the first ti admit to our stupid american ways.

I think we should have them because it is kind of like a Barmitsfa(sp?) or a Confirmation, it is to show that you have moved on to the next stage in your life, it is more symbolic than anything else, it shows that you are no longer a child, but an adult. Just as the other ceremonies do, except now the age of adulthood has moved up and graduation of high school has taken it's place. At least that is the way I see it

You are actually wrong, Billy. In England there is NO high school graduation at all. For reference, i wasn't calling graduation bad (at least, didn't mean too) i was just querying.
