BALLOON FEST
I went to Canton for the big hot air balloon festival to kick off Hall of Fame Week. It was too windy for the balloons, so all I got were some shots of the kids. Not enough to put into the Photo Album, but I will post them here soon, (probably tomorrow). Still had fun though. And, of course, the fireworks were great. Maria made ( Read more... )

I actually have very little interest in seeing this film. I have no wish to support cruise if I can help it. That guy has gone around the bend.
Spielberg, I like, so I will end up borrowing it from the library at some point.
Andy do you have any kind of top 5 or top 10 list of films you would want to have on a dessert island?
Mine in no particular order:
Casablanca. - Bergman makes her daughter look like the elephant man. Plus, it's Bogie's finest performance.
Army of Darkness. This film knows what it is and revels in it. Best B flick ever.
Citizen Kane. - Wells was too good too soon. Shouldn't have been able to make this film as his debut. A staggering talent wasted.
Star Wars. - It's got all the lines and the best story.
Spider-Man 2. - My personal favorite comic book movie. Two Rami movies on the list. Yikes.
Raiders of the Lost Ark. Indy. Lucas and Spielberg. Goodness.
Spinal Tap. Still makes my stoamach hurt laughing so hard.

My top 10 movies if I was stranded on a desert Island (assuming of course that I would have access to all the porn that I wanted. If that is NOT the case, then this list would need much editing...)
In no particular order:

The Matrix: Favorite movie of all time. Incredible concept. Should have been a TV series on Sci-Fi.

Monty Python and the Holy Grail
Eddie Murphy Delirious
Eddie Murphy Raw
Bill Cosby Himself

Heat
Pulp Fiction
Top Gun
Pirates of the Caribbean
Terminator 2

Now, there are some others that I would put above these as my favorites, but I wouldn't want to watch them over and over. The most notable is The Butterfly Effect. One of the best movies I've ever seen.
Don't write it off because of Ashton Kutcher, it REALLY is a great movie.

yeah, i was going for the re-wa tchability factor too.
And I would like to add Pulp Fiction to my list as well.

You liked Heat that much, huh? I dug it, but damn that lack of an editor. I know it's his style but it gets to me. A good 110 min movie could be salvaged if they just cut some of those scenes. Same for the Insider. Just too damn much 70's style pans.
