Wow, well, it's been just about half a year since I last posted. How time truly does fly! What I find funny though, is how not a heck of a whole lot has exactly changed since I last posted in August. I find it funny, and troublesome at the same time, because I have a sneaky suspicion that I have fallen into the daily rigors of the "day job." ( Read more... )

It was hard for me to leave "home" when I went back to visit this year too. Home for me is many places though. Grand Rapids will always have a homey feel to it to a certain extent. I didn't even go to GVSU, I knew it would be too hard to leave if I did (plus the mountain of snow prevented any extra excursions.) My childhood home is no more, so it's hard to feel like I'm really home with my mom because none of the things that I remember about home are the same.

It's also weird because I find my boyfriend to be home, wherever we are. It's always harder to leave him than anything...

And yeah...Heath bedda get those awards!

For me it is different. When I left to go to Louisville, that was really hard, mostly because I have lived in GR my entire life. But moving to Maine after was much easier, although I really did miss Louisville. Moving back "home" after all that was actually the hardest thing for me to do. "Home" is becoming an irrelevant term for me to use because it doesn't really exist anymore, it's strange, but I'm strangely okay with it.
