Oaths

I’ve been thinking about how many times I’ve taken the military oath.  Between initial sign up, Officer Training School, my commissioning, joining the National Guard, and finally, the Air Force Reserve, it adds up to maybe a half a dozen times.

The 1st Amendment protects the people's right to practice religion, to speak freely, to assemble (meet), to address (petition) the government, and of the press to publish.

but it doesn't work for years, if ever did anywhere.
i've seen those people in nyc are beaten by police. and journalist getting kicked with batons. that'd kinda opposite to what amendment says.
