A rather homophobic comment was left on my last post.  I have two things to say in response.

Joshua:  I don’t know…I’m still worried about how he will react.  I mean, what if he brings the “if a man lies with another man…” verse in Leviticus against me?

I believe in the "kill them with kindness" philosophy. Hence why I responded with the NT texts that I did. Granted the second was not a direct biblical text but from a short play that I wrote (Daniel M. O'Brien is a pen name I have started using when I compose music and write). I don't use OT texts in response because of what Jesus says in the section of the play I quoted. If I am attacked in this manner again I will respond in the same way.

Oh, I agree with you. The kill them with kindness approach is the best.

But when people do become bull-headed, I tend to educate them on their point of view. I do not use the Bible against itself much...I use historical context within the Bible was written more, something not open to interpretation.

Like I said, I guess I still have the fight...so if you ever need it... :)
