So, I've been basically a shut-in all vacation, except for numerous doctor's appointments. So not much interesting to talk about there, except that I've been playing a lot of WoW.

Cut for Latin grammar nerdery )

You should totally do goblin Cassie. Goblins are awesome. More so than gnomes.

I rather like any of the Sagitolla versions. And a great many Forsaken have a worshippy thing with Sylvanas; she's good at the cult of personality thing. (Forsaken are awesome and we have the hottest racial leader and an awesome racial ability! Join us!) Also, warriors are pretty awesome and you get the whole unkillable if played right thing. And warriors can tank, if you're ever interested. It's tons of fun!

Hmm, it looks like goblins and gnomes follow the same naming conventions (random syllable + vowel + na, or occasionally +ila, as far as I can tell) but aren't gnomes the steampunky ones? Alt!Cassie kind of gravitates toward steampunk. (And this would be the seventh version of her in my head... 0.o I'm glad they're all very similar or they'd leave no time for my other characters.)

I agree, Forsaken are awesome from everything I've seen. (Speaking of "hottest racial leader", would you be interested in joining her cuddleharem? :P ) I've done ranged on all two of my characters so far, so I'm a little nervous about hitting things when they can actually hit me back. XD Does wearing lots of armor make up for it?

Armor is awesome. If you're a warrior, you can wear plate after level 40, and you have tons of health. For comparison, my mage who can only wear cloth is at 135K health at level 85. My paladin, same level and worse gear quality, is at 175K health. It's wonderful! You die a lot less. And if you're a Protection warrior, you have all sorts of wonderful not-taking-damage things ( ... )

...that is a lot of health. *is used to tabletops*

I'd definitely be interested in seeing that googledoc- not sure if you have my gmail, it's 129ElmSt @ etc. And I added you to the cuddleharem. :)

Hmmkay. I seem to be running one character at a time, anyway, so Fake!Cassie probably will be a while. :P

Here, have another Sylvanas icon.

While--as Rocky mentioned--many Forsaken do practically worship Sylvanas (there's a reason so many of them say "Dark Lady watch over you" or "Victory for Sylvanas" when you speak to them) the "I TOTES MET YOU IN THE AFTERLIFE" angle is definitely new! And that racial ability Rocky mentioned? We can Cannibalize. We can om nom nom the flesh of the humanoids we just killed to restore health. It is excellent.

"Sagittula" is my favorite name for the new Forsaken character. "Sagittella" looks like some obscure kind of pasta. (Arrow-shaped pasta...perhaps I could invent it and make millions.) Whereas anything with "-ula" looks quite Latin to me, as I dubbed my car the very Latin "Cordula" ("little heart").

Heeeeee. OMNOMNOM THE FLESH OF MY ENEMIES! :P

...You're right, Sagitella does look like pasta. I hadn't noticed that. >_> I'll probably end up going with Sagittula, it does look the most "Latiny" to me as well. *wishes Latin existed in WoW for realsies* There's just so many ways to form diminutives in Latin, it's hard to tell which one is right.

Also, I've thought about her backstory some more, and I think it's going to be less "waiting around and having a bit of a chat" than:

Former Paladin: *floats*
Head!Sylvanas: *surrounded by glowing light*
Former Paladin: "Ooooooh."
Everywhere Voice: "YOUR WORK IS NOT YET COMPLETE."
Head!Sylvanas: *extends hand*
Former Paladin: *reaches out*
The Real World: "Hi! You're not dead anymore! Air and dirt and things still exist!"
