I read your words and really see the loneliness.
I am an introvert, so the loneliness is there but doesn't hurt me as much. But I did cry a couple of times during easter last week as I as alone and really feeling it.
According to the Myers Briggs scale, which personality do you most resemble? I am an INTP.

My reply is months overdue, and I apologize. I honestly don't know! I have looked at that scale, but I'm never entirely sure where I fit. I've taken a couple of online quizes, but I forget what they suggested. I'm off to take another, and I'll update with the result.

Okay, so I got INFP, according to the 16Personalities website test. It says that's the mediator.
"Although they may seem quiet or unassuming, Mediators (INFPs) have vibrant, passionate inner lives. Creative and imaginative, they happily lose themselves in daydreams, inventing all sorts of stories and conversations in their minds. These personalities are known for their sensitivity - Mediators can have profound emotional responses to music, art, nature, and the people around them.
Idealistic and empathetic, Mediators long for deep, soulful relationships, and they feel called to help others. But because this personality type makes up such a small portion of the population, Mediators may sometimes feel lonely or invisible, adrift in a world that doesn’t seem to appreciate the traits that make them unique."
I've been doing a lot better. The first month was REALLY rough, but I've adjusted pretty well now that I've had proof that I really will still see Kim, Joe, and Nate multiple times a week. I actually spend more nights with somebody staying over, than I do alone. Tuesday, Joe stays with me overnight. Wednesday, Kim and Nate stay overnight. Friday, Nate stays overnight. Saturday, Kim stays overnight. And, occasionally, they all stay overnight. So, I'm really not as alone as I'd feared.
